Publish Tenders and Advertisements
Brief Procedure Regarding Insertion of Advertisements and Tenders:
Text of the advertisement or the tender notice issued by any Government/ semi-Government office/ agency (along with the Hindi version of the same, if required) should be sent straight to this Directorate either by post or by fax, if it is not sent through the medium of any private advertisement agency. In the case of such advertisements, if they are desired to be published in any particular issue of the I.T.J., they must be sent so as to reach this Directorate latest by the preceding Friday (12 Noon).
Text of the advertisement or the tender notice issued by any private organization, or through private advertisement agencies (along with the Hindi version of the same, if required), together with charge therefore should be sent at least four weeks in advance direct to

Any tender notice that is being sent for publication should ideally have a clear gap of 15 days between the publication of the said notice and the closing of the tender. This requirement may be relaxed in urgent and emergency cases but, in no case, should it be less than 7 days.
Advertising space is sold or contracted for, subject to the right of the Government of India to refuse insertion of any advertisement or to discontinue the insertion of the same at any time thereby canceling the sale of contract without assigning any reason.

Payment of Charges for advertisement:
Bills for advertisements and tender notices received directly from Government/ semi-Government offices/ agencies and published in the Indian Trade Journal, together with tear sheets, will be sent by the Controller of Publications, Department of Publications, Civil Lines, Delhi : 110 054 to the advertisement/ tender issuing authorities. Payments should be made on receipt of such bills as expeditiously as possible. All correspondence regarding such bills are to be made with the Controller of Publications.
